Using Stormboard

Stormboard lets you integrate with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. You can upload Office and Google files, but they're view-only on your boards if you have the free plan. You can see the files but not edit them. You can edit uploaded files in the other plans, however.

Free account holders miss out on other features, too, such as folders for organizing work and customizable templates, among others.

Once you have signed up and verified your email, you get taken to the plans page. Here you can select the price package. Both the Personal plan and eductation plan for teacher are free. There is a business and Enterprise option for larger team and projects.

Before you start you can customise your experience. You can select how many users you will have - and it goes up to 1000+! So whether you have 1-5, 50-100 or over 1000 team members you can select the option.

Next you can sleect what you will be using it for, For example, running a one-off meeting or workshop, Brainstorming or Managing Projects.

Once you are in your dashboard, there are introduction and tutorial videos. In Stormboard a "Storm" is your digital workspace. Create your new storm ( you get 5 with the free personl plan. )

Choose a template now, or get started with a basic Storm. You can change the template any time by clicking the templates button once you're in your Storm. There are lots of templates available for all types of business processes — Kanban, Agile, Design Thinking, and more! To get started, choose your template (you can even populate it with sample content, to get an idea of how to use them.

Templates for Agile Frameworks, Project Management, Brainstorming and Problem Solving, Meeting Coordination.

There are also realtime chat boxes and live whiteboard options.

Can I Export my whiteboard?

Yes, you can export your whiteboard content from Stormboard in various formats. Here are the key export options available:

• Word Cloud Report: Generates a word cloud from the text in your Stormboard.

• Storm Screenshot: Exports the entire Stormboard as a high-resolution PNG image.

Steps to Export

To export, you can select the "Export" option from the menu, choose the desired format, and customize the report as needed. You can then download the report or save it directly to your Stormboard for future reference.
